According to reports, Audi is working on a hybrid version of the A8. Chances are not good the hybrid is coming any time soon, however.
Also CEO Rupert Stadler told reporters Audi will (probably) not introduce a diesel hybrid A8.
The new Audi A8, just introduced, will come with a 4.2-liter V-8 engine with 372 horsepower. The fuel efficiency has increased 13 to 22 percent.
