Back in 1999 i entered the annual Grand Prix Sportique international motoring art competition,
in the past it had launched the career of Juan Carlos Ferrigno.
I was delighted when i got second prize, out of 600+ contestants world wide.
Apart from a big amount of money a lot of good came out of it,but it didn't change my career, wich looking back was a good thing,i would probably still have peen painting photographic...eek!

Tips On How To SAVE MONEY On Car Insurance

Tips On How To Save Money On Car Insurance
By Charles C.

Some things in life are free. Car insurance is not one of those things, and it can be rather darn expensive. Here are some ideas on how to save money on car insurance.

Depending upon what state you live in, having car insurance may not only be a smart way to protect your car, it may also be the law. Certain states require that drivers carry insurance on their vehicle, and for good reason. Car repairs can be very expensive, and most people do not have a few thousand dollars set aside just in case of an accident.

Since car insurance is something we need to spend money on, we should try to save money while we're doing it, right?

Here are a few tips to help you save money on your car insurance bill.

1. Get quotes from more than 1 company. You are severely limiting the money you might save by signing up with the first company you get a quote from.

2. See if your employer has any special relationships that might entitle you to cheaper insurance. Some companies that are only available to groups have incredibly attractive rates and is a great way to save money.

3. Some companies offer percentage discounts for a good driving record, good grades in school, and defensive driving courses. A defensive driving course might cost you a few hundred bucks, but it might save you multiples of that over the next few years. Check with the insurance company to see which programs qualify for this discount.

4. Make sure your motor vehicle record doesn't have any wrong information. Identity thieves have figured out that it is not too difficult to get their moving violations on someone Else's record.

5. Carrying a higher deductible, for example $1000 instead of $500, can lead to lower rates. If you are not prone to having accidents, a higher deductible might be a good choice for you to save money.

6. If you have a teenage driver, consider having them get their own policy. At least get quotes to compare whether they are adding unnecessary expense to your rates.

7. Move to a rural area. This is probably not a viable option, but car insurance does vary heavily by area and state. More densely populated areas oftentimes have much higher rates than rural areas.

8. If your vehicle is completely paid for, you may only need to carry a minimal amount of insurance. Check with your insurance company and state laws to see if you're required to carry coverage such as liability, collision, or comprehensive coverage.

9. Some car insurance companies will give a discount if you have an alarm or theft-deterrent device installed. If your car doesn't have one already, consider getting one.

There you have it. A few free tips on how to save money on your car insurance. Some may work for you and some may not, but you won't know if your getting the best rate unless try to implement some of these tips. Good luck in reducing your car insurance bill!

Would you like to save money on car insurance but aren't sure how? One way is to get a free quote from a few different auto insurance companies. Try it for yourself. Get a free car insurance quote in 5 minutes or less at http://www.saveOnCarInsurance27.com

2007 Chevy Fulwin Concept

2007 Chevy Fulwin
By Fei Lim

While you don't usually hear much about sports cars that are made in China, the 2007 Chery Fulwin just may change that. Although the car is still only a concept car, it very well may be the car that takes China into the real of sports car production. This car is very light weight, and only weighs in at about 2650 pounds. Combine that with a nice 1.6 L engine that puts out 100 lb-ft of torque and you have a car that will definitely be quite speedy. The new Chery Fulwin is much different from the boxy car of the past, and now boasts some smoother curves and a new design that is much more modern than before.

The 2007 Chery Fulwin was recently shown at the Beijing Motor Show and was definitely quite a hit. In fact, it was stated that it was actually one of the hottest vehicles to be shown at this show. The name Fulwin, actually translates to mean "wind cloud" and the car definitely looks like it could go like the wind. It combines together some very sharp lines with some slight curves that make it have a very eye catching look. The Chery company is wanting to see this car produced, and they may even give low cost cars, such as KIA a run for their money in the future.

With a sporty look and a two door design, it is no wonder that the 2007 Chery Fulwin made such an impact at the Beijing Motor Show. It is definitely a car that boasts great looks and Chery hopes to start actually producing the sports car sometime in 2008. One of the great things about this vehicle is the low price. While you get a sporty look and drive from this car, it is not overpriced and is great for the younger generation that wants a sporty car without a steep price.

Although other designs from Chery in the past have not pushed the design concepts to this level, it is a breath of fresh air to look at the 2007 Chery Fulwin. The car has a very sleek look and the front of the car looks light and fast. As you look towards the back of the vehicle it gets a bit broader and has heavier lines, which may be a bit unusual for this type of car; however, it definitely works with the overall look. Some have thought that the back of the car looked a bit heavy; however, the design of the fog lights and rear braking lights help to break up the look to make it appear sleek.

Chery is definitely one of the leading car manufacturers in China, and their new concept car, the 2007 Chery Fulwin definitely made an impact this past year. This company has been around for quite some time, and their other car models have definitely proven successful in the past. In the future they are looking forward to producing the new Fulwin, since it seems to have been such a hit. Chery is hoping to not only break into the Australian market, but they also want to break into the United States auto market as well. With a car like the Fulwin, it is definitely possible that they could break into these markets in the near future. The Chery Fulwin offers a chic and hot design that young people especially like as well as excellent technology.

If you are going to be looking for a nice, affordable sports car in the next few years, you may wan to consider the 2007 Chery Fulwin. Soon it will be in production and this hot new car will be available for purchase. Since it is made in China, you will probably be able to get the car for a much better deal than what you would pay for many of the American made sports cars. So, if you want something that is affordable but that looks great, the Fulwin is a car to keep your eye on.

things are taking shape now, must try and leave the details, concentrate on the overall look...

bit more color,i'm still unsure and use very thinned down paint, starting to get a bit bitty...must watch that...i'mgoingtofastallready!my camara loves light blue...

don't know where i'm going with that road yet, changed the position and seize of the car.not unhappy with the colors at the moment.

after the drawing,i start blocking in the big areas,
trying to make the colors work with each other,
being careful to keep the distant planes back.

i like to draw things out with a brush, with a very thin mixture of magenta and blue,on a peach colored canvas.
fitting the car in is going to be the hardest part....

sorry, the pictures are a bit poor, because i shot them from the easel. my studio is a barn and the sun was going in out today.
i can't use the road in the photo,it has to be a dirt track...
